Guest List for a Magic Party
Hosting a magic party is a great idea for people of all ages. Whether it's for a child or an adult, the guests will look forward to being entertained and amazed. To make sure the party is a success, one of the first things that need to be done is to identify the party guests. This not only assist in the planning process of space, food, and supplies, but it also is a great way to determine the key people who will assist in the magic.

The Magical Guest of Honor
Whether the guest of honor is the actual magician or not, dress them accordingly. Provide a top hat, white gloves, black cape, and the essential magic wand. If a magician has been hired to perform, prearrange for the guest of honor to assist the magician.

Magic Goody Bags Before the magic begins, let the guests entertain themselves and each other by providing "magic goody bags". As each guest arrive provide them with a small bag filled with the necessary supplies and instructions to perform a magic trick. After the magician performs, allow each guests the opportunity to perform their trick.

Magic Party Favors
At the end of the party, be sure to provide magical party favors that guests can take with them to remind them of the party and thank them. In a decorated cellophane or plastic bag include a selection of items that can be used to practice a little magic of their own. Some examples are playing cards, dice and small magic sets.

Magic Thank You Cards
Use a magic thank you card to demonstrate how important each guest's attendance was in conjunction with thanking them for any gift they brought. There are many stock thank you cards with the "magic" theme.

Start a magic party celebration with an excellent ice breaker in which you start by announcing the guests as they arrive and handing them over a name tag along with an appetizer or a drink. Have all the guests participate in karaoke, and have a contest on who was the best singer of the night. Give the winner a crown along with a cool gift card.
